After this, simply use a vacuum cleaner to remove the starch. Even long-pile carpets can be easily cleaned. You just need to spray a little starch water, let it soak in, and then vacuum it up.
Starch is also useful for cleaning clothes and shoes. It allows you to quickly restore the whiteness and purity of white sneakers and textile shoes. And to eliminate unpleasant odors from insoles, just sprinkle dry starch inside your shoes at night and just vacuum them in the morning.
If you need to remove sweat odor from clothing, simply place the item of clothing in a bag, add about 200 grams of starch, close the bag tightly, shake well to distribute the starch evenly, and leave overnight. You will be pleasantly surprised by the result – the clothes will be fresh and without any unpleasant odor.
Starch can also be used to create dry shampoo. If you don’t have time to wash your hair, but need to quickly give it a neat look, just spread a little dry starch onto the roots of your hair, wait 10 minutes, and then comb it with a fine comb and use a hair dryer. Your hair will look well-groomed and fresh, and will also retain its volume well.
Starch can also be used in cosmetic face masks suitable for all skin types. These masks have a powerful lifting effect and can fight acne.
