Grandma’s apple pie from the tray, the way I love it

Ingredients

For the dough
320 g flour
120 g powdered sugar
220 g margarine
2 egg yolks
1 pack of baking powder
For the topping
1 kg grated apples
120 g sugar
1 pack
of vanilla sugar Ground cinnamon
For dusting
some powdered sugar
Vanilla sugar

Preparation
First, mix the flour with baking powder, sift through and add margarine, egg yolks and powdered sugar. Knead everything into a smooth dough.

Now divide the dough in half. Then roll out one half on a floured work surface to the size of a tray (30×40 cm) – also form a border.
Next, spread the apple filling (see step 5) and cover with the rest of the dough.

Now drizzle with milk, pierce with a fork and put in the oven. Bake at 190°C for 25 to 30 minutes or as needed.
Now for the filling, roughly grate the apples, let them rest briefly, remove the juice and season with sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon.

After baking, sprinkle with powdered and vanilla sugar. Allow to cool, cut into pieces and serve.
