Ingredients
For the cream
650 ml milk
1 ½ pack of vanilla pudding powder
n. B. Sugar, approx. 50 – 100 g
220g butter
For the dough
250 ml water
120g butter
150g flour
½ pack of baking powder
4 pieces of eggs
Instructions
For the cream
First, mix the vanilla pudding powder with 250 ml of milk and bring the remaining 350 ml to the boil. Then add the vanilla pudding mixture to the boiling milk and stir until it becomes quite thick.
Add the sugar to taste. Then let it cool down.
When the pudding is cool, mix everything briefly with the mixer and then add 200 g of soft butter. Mix until it is a smooth cream.
For the dough
Next, bring the water with butter to a boil. Then stir in the flour and baking powder vigorously over low heat.
Let cool down. Mix the four eggs into the cooled mixture one after the other and then mix on the highest level for about 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Divide the dough into two parts and spread the first part thinly and evenly onto the baking tray.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Process the second half of the dough exactly the same way. Allow to cool well.
Spread the cream on the bottom half and place the top part on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
