
It’s like a fruit cocktail but with a touch of onion, aged cheese and chili. Delicious for hot weather as an appetizer before a meal or a delicious and fresh snack. It is worth having it already made in the refrigerator so that the family has a healthy dish ready to eat.
Ingredients:
1 Jicama
3 Cucumbers
1 Pineapple
¼ Watermelon
3 Tablespoons of finely chopped onion
150 gms of grated Cotija Cheese (aged)
6 Oranges
10 lemons
Chili Powder to taste
Salt in grains
Preparation:
The jicama, cucumbers, pineapple and watermelon are cut into small 1 cm squares. and they all stir together.
To assemble the glasses, put a layer of the fruit mixture filling 1/3 of the glass, sprinkle a teaspoon of onion, a spoon of cheese, chili to taste and a pinch of salt. The layer of fruit, onion, cheese, chili and salt is repeated 2 more times.
At the end, a lemon is squeezed into each glass, completed with orange juice to fill the glass.
The glasses are filled with tops and decorated with cheese and chili.
