Mallorcan bread: good, soft and easy to make at home!

INGREDIENTS
7 g (2 ¼ teaspoons) dry yeast;
125 ml (½ cup) water;
185 ml (¾ cup) milk;
125 ml (½ cup) butter, melted;
60 g (⅓ cup) sugar;
¼ teaspoon salt;
3 egg yolks;
540 g (4 cups) all-purpose flour;
Melted butter;
Whole cream.

METHOD
Whisk 1 tablespoon of sugar and dry yeast in warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Add the warm milk into the yeast solution, then beat in the egg yolks, remaining sugar and melted butter.
Add the flour and salt to the liquid mixture and mix until dough forms.
Cover and set the dough aside for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle, brush with more butter and cut into 12 strips.
Roll each strip into a bun as shown in the video. Set aside for 1 hour to puff up, then brush with cream and bake at 180C/350F for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Dust with icing sugar before serving.
