- Ingredients:
1 egg
1 cup (tea) sugar
1/2 tablespoon of salt
1/2 cup of oil
1 tablespoon margarine
1 cup of warm milk
2 cups of warm water
15g dry yeast (1 and 1/2 packets)
1.5kg of wheat flour (approximately). - Method of preparation:
Mix all the ingredients except the wheat, then add the wheat little by little, stirring until it starts to come away from your hands and knead for approximately 10 minutes. Let the dough rest in a warm place until it doubles in volume. Lastly, shape the loaves, let them rest again until they double in volume and bake in a medium oven until golden.
I added condensed milk and water to the ones that are shiny. I used a 1/1 ratio, the same amount of water and condensed milk. Just mix well and pour over the bread while it’s still in the pan. It absorbs the syrup and is delicious.
