Recipe for lean bagels with sweet filling without eggs in the dough
Bagel shaping:
Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
Roll each piece of dough into a round layer about 2 mm thick. Divide the dough into 8 sectors using a knife. Place a portion of the filling in the middle of the arch of each sector, moving away about 1.5 cm from the edge. Fold the dough sectors towards the center of the base to create bagels. Prepare the dough bagels and the rest of the fillings in the same way.
The final stage:
Place the formed bagels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a baking mat. Bake the bagels in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes until golden. The apple jam bagels are ready. Let the bagels cool. Once they are completely cool, sprinkle the bagels with powdered sugar if desired. Bon appetit!
