To make oregano oil, you just need to have these two products at home. You can use fresh or dried oregano. If you use the fresh one you will need a sprig, otherwise half a spoonful of the dried one will be enough. Then you need a glass of extra virgin olive oil (100 ml).

If the leaves are fresh, you will need to use a pestle to crush them. Once you have a light and juicy paste, transfer it to a glass jar with a lid. Add the oil and close. Store in a cool, dark place for about 15 days. After this time, remove the oil again.
Now you will have to filter it before you can use it. Place it in a well-sterilized container and store it in a cool, dry place. Don’t take too long and if necessary do it again, as it really takes very little time. Below we see what to use it for.

Aromatherapy: helps purify the home. You can place it, for example, in the radiator humidifier or creating an ambient aroma;
Ointment: in this case, simply mix a few drops of oregano oil with another oil and massage it into the skin. Excellent in this case for pain, cellulite and facial skin;
Food use: as we said before, it can be ingested. It helps with digestion, but be careful not to overdo it. A few drops are enough to dissolve in a teaspoon of sugar after meals.
