Pickled potatoes: last year I made 1 jar, and this year I made 15, it’s very tasty

Pickled potatoes are a unique and unusual appetizer that can surprise and delight guests. This recipe will allow you to prepare potatoes in such a way that they will be an excellent addition to traditional salads, such as Olivier salad or vinaigrette, and can also serve as a separate snack.

First you need to pour boiling water over the potatoes and cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes after boiling.

Use small potato tubers for pickling. If the potatoes are large, then they should be cut into halves.

To prepare the marinade, place aromatic additives at the bottom of a one and a half liter jar: bay leaf, dill seeds, garlic cloves, small pieces of carrots and hot peppers for piquancy. Then place the prepared potatoes in the jar, carefully filling the container.

Sprinkle a little sugar and salt on top for taste, add vinegar. This will give the snack a sweet and sour aroma.

Next, fill the contents of the jar with boiling water to the top and close the lids tightly. Leave the jars to cool at room temperature. Once completely cooled, store the pickled potatoes in a cool place.

This snack will be ready to eat in two weeks. Pickled potatoes are perfect as an independent dish or as an original ingredient for salads and other dishes. Surprise your guests with a new flavor combination!
