They scatter like seeds. Crumbly mini bagels. Universal dough made from 3 ingredients.

Greetings! Today I will share with you a wonderful recipe for bagels that my mother made as a child. Their unique taste and ease of preparation bring back warm memories.

Cooking instructions:
The process is quite simple. The dough only requires three main ingredients, plus a little salt.

First, I take cold butter or margarine and grind it together with flour until crumbly. You can put the flour on the surface, roll pieces of butter in it and chop with a knife, and then quickly mix with your hands until you get crumbs. I use a blender for this, breaking the process into two stages due to the small bowl.

Then I add sour cream and a pinch of salt to the crumbs, and quickly knead a dense dough.

You need to form it into a ball, the process takes only 2-3 minutes. Place the finished dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. If the dough does not come together, you can add a little more flour.

While the dough is chilling, you can prepare the filling. I chose the nut one: I grind the nuts together with sugar in a blender. If you don’t have a blender, you can crush the nuts in a bag with a rolling pin and then mix with sugar.

I take out the dough and divide it into four equal parts. I roll out one and keep the rest in the refrigerator.

The thickness of the dough should be about 2-3 mm, cut into 16 equal segments. I put the filling on each segment, leaving a little free space around the edges, and roll it up into a bagel.

I place the bagels on a baking sheet, which you can sprinkle with flour or use baking paper. To get rosy and shiny bagels, you can brush them with beaten egg. I decided to brush with egg and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

The finished bagels are tender and crumbly. Alternatively, instead of butter or margarine, you can use lard, which will not worsen the taste.

Prepare these bagels and let them delight your loved ones with their inimitable taste!
