Homemade Lactal Bread

As we know, Pan Lactal is a type of bread widely used in the kitchen to make simple or toasted sandwiches, as well as classic toast for breakfast or snack. It is delicious and very versatile to make interesting desserts based on lactal bread, in fact there are plenty of ideas available to please the palate of our guests.

Below is an easy, simple and quick recipe to make our homemade lactal bread at home.

The only added ingredient that makes this preparation different is the powdered milk. Although we can use liquid milk, we must take into account reducing the amount of mineral water that we are also going to use:

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of flour
  • 200 gr of butter
  • 20 gr. of Salt (15 gr if we want to reduce sodium)
  • 50 gr of powdered milk
  • 570 cc of Mineral water
  • 1 cube of fresh yeast

Preparation Mode:

  • In a large bowl we are going to place the water and yeast, beating until it is well dissolved. Then we add the powdered milk but without stopping beating, we continue with the flour and finally we add the salt while continuing to stir all the ingredients.
  • Once the dough begins to come off the bowl, we remove it and place it on a clean surface to work with.
  • Now we add the creamy butter so that it integrates into the dough and we begin to knead it enough, the more we knead it, the firmer the bread crumb will be.
  • Next we stretch the dough and fold it with a rolling pin so that air balloons do not form, then we let it rest until it rises twice as much.
  • After the time has passed, we place it in a mold suitable for this type of bread and bake it for about 30/40 minutes in the oven at 180º.
