How to make Tuna Pancakes: Golden on the outside and soft on the inside! Tips to disarm us

Ingredients

For the pancakes:

  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • Oregano to taste
  • ¼ chopped white onion

  • 1 can of drained tuna
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

For the green sauce:

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Spicy green chili peppers to taste (you can use green chili or green bell pepper to soften)
  • ¾ of white onion
  • 2 coats

Preparation

  1. Pancakes: Cook the potatoes in salted water until tender. Once cooked, peel them and make a puree. To this puree add the chopped onion, tuna, egg, oregano, cilantro and salt to taste. Mix everything until you obtain a homogeneous mass.
  2. Take portions of the mixture and form into pancakes. Pass them through the breadcrumbs making sure they are well covered.
