Ingredients
1 roll of puff pastry (rectangular)
2 apples
2 tablespoons of brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
1 pinch of ground cinnamon 20 g of
lemon juice
40 g of raisins
30 g of pine nuts (or dried fruits to taste)
Preparation
How to make apple and raisin puff pastry?
Soak the raisins in half a glass of warm water and set aside.
Wash and peel the apples, cut them into cubes and remove the core.
Place the apples in a pan with the lemon juice, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Turn on the heat and cook for 2 or 3 minutes, long enough to add flavor.
Turn off and let cool.
Unroll the puff pastry and divide it into six rectangles with the tip of a sharp knife.
Drain the raisins from the water, squeeze them well and dry with a sheet of absorbent paper.
Add them to the apples.
Spread a spoonful of caramelized apples on the right side of each rectangle and add some pine nuts.
With a knife, make small incisions on the left side of the rectangle.
Brush the edges with a little water, fold in half and form a card.
Seal the edges well by pressing with your fingertips and brush the surface with the apple cooking liquid.
Cook the puff pastries with apples and raisins in the preheated oven at 190° until golden.
This will take 12/15 minutes.
Let cool and sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
