Lenten pie, on broth and semolina – A very tasty Lenten recipe and very easy to prepare

Ingredients for the sheets:

  • 15 tablespoons of oil
  • 5 teaspoons of decoction
  • 7 spoons of sugar
  • 450 g of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of soda
  • salt
  • bottle of rum essence

Ingredients for the cream:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 200 g semolina
  • 250 g of margarine
  • 10 spoons of sugar
  • 100 g of coconut
  • lemon peel

Method of cooking:

1. Pour oil into a bowl. Add sugar, salt and mix well. Gradually add stock, rum essence, flour, bicarbonate and mix very well.

2. Roll out a third of the dough into a thin sheet. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. We do the same with the rest of the dough. As a result, we should get 3 letters.

3. Boil water in a saucepan. Add lemon zest, sugar and mix. When it boils, add the semolina, then remove the pan from the heat. Finally, add lemon juice, margarine, coconut and mix well.

4. To form the cake, cover the first sheet with half the amount of cream. On top, add the 2nd sheet, the remaining cream, and finish with the 3rd sheet at the end. Decorate with vanilla sugar.

Enjoy with love! Good appetite!
