- 200g flour
- 100ml milk
- 100 ml of water
- 100 g of butter
- Baking powder to taste
- a pinch of salt
- 4 eggs

INSTRUCTIONS
Preparation
In a pot, heat the milk, water and butter until melted. Remove and gradually add the flour mixed with the yeast and salt, stirring constantly. Once incorporated, add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
Divide the dough into two equal parts. Stretch each portion forming two rectangles of the same size and place them on two previously greased or parchment paper trays. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden.
For the cream, in a bowl combine the eggs, sugar and flour. Heat the milk in a pot without boiling. Gradually add the hot milk to the egg mixture, stirring constantly. Return to heat, stir until thickened. When turning off, add the butter in pieces, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous cream.
Once the dough is cooked and cooled, place one of the dough layers on a plate. Pour the cream on top and cover with the other layer of dough, pressing gently.
The result is an exquisite cake that combines the airy texture of the dough with the creamy softness of the filling. A true delight that transcends borders and unites generations. When served, each bite becomes a journey of flavor and tradition. To enjoy!
