  1. I have already tried different types of vegetables for this casserole – but the combination of peas/carrots with cheese sauce tastes best
2.Start by peeling the potatoes, cutting them into cubes, rinsing them once under running water and then cooking them until al dente.
3.The roots (carrots) are also peeled and sliced. Then cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
  2. Please add the frozen peas to the roots for the last 5 minutes and cook with them.
5.Now peel the onion and garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
6.Melt the teaspoon of butter in a pan and add the minced meat. Now season with salt, paprika powder and pepper. After 3 minutes, add the onion and garlic cubes and fry everything until crumbly. Set the pan aside.
7.Take a small pot and melt the butter in it. Now add the flour while stirring with a whisk. Stir until there is no more flour to be seen. Now add the milk in batches while continuing to stir!! Note: if the sauce somehow seems too thick, simply add a little more milk.
8.Remove the pot briefly from the heat and stir in the processed cheese and spices. Preheat the oven top/bottom heat to 200 degrees.
9.Put the minced meat in the first layer in a baking dish
10.2. Layer the peas and roots on top
11.3.Spread the potato cubes on top.
12.Now pour the cheese sauce evenly over the casserole.
13.Distribute either cheese slices or grated cheese on the casserole.
  3. Top/bottom heating at 200 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes on the middle rack. I wish you bon appetit
