Ingredients:
3 pears
30 g of walnut or almond powder
1 teaspoon of chemical baking powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
4 eggs
150 g of flour
100 g of butter
100 g of sugar
1 pinch of salt
100 g of dark pastry chocolate
Sliced almonds
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C.
Peel the pears and cut them into coarse pieces. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle them with lemon juice.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla extract.
Add the melted butter, salt, baking powder, walnut (or almond) powder and flour. Mix until you get a smooth dough.
Butter a baking tray and arrange the pears.
Add the dark chocolate pieces into the mixture, then pour it over the pears.
Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool before turning it out.
Toast the flaked almonds in a fat-free pan.
Decorate the cake with melted chocolate and toasted almonds.
Serve and enjoy!
