100 year old recipe super soft and delicious, grandma’s rolls

Ingredients :

  • 120 g Butter
  • 40 ml
  • 2 Owner
  • A pinch of salt
  • 350 ml milk
  • 35 g fresh yeast
  • 80 g sugar
  • 600 g flour
  • For rolling: 3 packs of cinnamon sugar, 50 g butter

Preparation :

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and add the sugar. Let the mixture rise.
  2. Mix the flour, melted butter, oil, eggs, salt and, if desired, raisins into a smooth dough.
  3. Dust the dough lightly with flour and let it rise until it has doubled in volume.
  4. Divide the dough into 8-10 portions. Form each portion into a roll and fold it in the middle. Braid the ends together to form a plait.
  5. Place the plaits on a baking tray lined with baking paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes. Bake them at 210 °C.
  6. Immediately coat the finished plaits with butter and roll them in cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
