☑️Ingredients:
- 600 g of wheat flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (200 g) of crystal (or refined) sugar
- 40 g of fresh yeast (or 15 g of dry organic yeast)
- 60 g of butter or margarine
- 250 ml of milk
For Calda:
- 1 cup (240 ml) of milk
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) coconut milk
- 1/2 box (200 g) of condensed milk
To Fill and Decorate:
- Milk cream
- Grated coconut
☑️Preparation method:
- In a large bowl, mix the wheat flour, eggs, sugar, yeast and butter.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Transfer the dough to a surface and knead for about 10 minutes until you obtain an elastic dough that does not stick to your hands.
- Place the dough in a bowl greased with oil, cover with plastic and let it rise for approximately 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small portions (approximately 20 g each) and shape into balls.
- Place the balls in a greased and floured pan, leaving space between them to grow.
- Let the balls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the syrup by mixing the milk, coconut milk and condensed milk in a bowl.
- Bake the buns in a preheated oven at 160ºC for 20-25 minutes, until they are lightly golden.
- After baking, let it cool a little and then fill the buns with dulce de leche.
- Then, dip the buns in the prepared syrup, turning them to absorb well.
- Finish by passing the buns in grated coconut.
- Store the rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
