For the dough:

150g sugar

1 pack of vanilla sugar

3 eggs

200g flour

100g margarine

2 teaspoons of baking soda

some Milk

2 tablespoons Nutella or other nut nougat cream

1 glass of sour cherries

For covering

400 g quark

1 pack of vanilla sugar

3 tbsp sugar

2 cups cream

3 packs of cream stiffener

1 pack of cake icing, red

n. B. Cherry juice from the glass

preparation

First, make a dough from margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, flour and baking powder, perhaps adding a little milk if the dough is a little too stiff. Pour half of the dough into a springform pan and smooth it out.

Then spread the drained sour cherries on top (reserve the juice from the cherries; it is needed for the icing). Mix the remaining dough with the nut nougat cream and spread over the cherries. Bake the cake at 200°C for about 50 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly.

Then mix the quark, sugar and vanilla sugar for the topping. In another bowl, beat the cream with the cream stiffener until stiff and then fold it into the curd mixture.

Now place a ring around the cooled cake and spread the quark-cream mixture evenly over it. Cook the cake glaze with the cherry juice as per the instructions and spread it over the quark-cream mixture. Leave the cake to cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Bon appetit
