Grandma’s nut pockets that melt in your mouth

Ingredients:

For the dough:

1 egg (size M)
80 g sour cream
150 g butter at room temperature
50 ml oil
40 g corn or potato starch
300 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 packet of vanilla sugar

For the filling:

2 pcs. (small) apple
100 g ground walnuts
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation:

1. Simply mix the ingredients into a dough, form a ball and place it in the fridge for an hour.

2. Then coarsely grate the apples, add sugar and cinnamon and roast briefly over a low heat. Add nuts, stir and allow the mixture to cool slightly.

3. Now roll out the dough relatively thickly and cut out circles. Place the filling in the middle of each circle and press the dough together in the middle with your fingers.

4. Now place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 15 to 20 minutes. Always keep an eye on it.

5. Finally, after baking, let it cool down and dust with icing sugar. Done!

Bon appetit.
