Grandma’s lightning-fast doughnuts, made with just a few ingredients!

Ingredients:

250 ml milk, warm
5 tbsp sugar
Icing sugar for dusting
Oil for frying
Flour for rolling out
500 g flour
1 tsp oil
1 pack yeast (dry yeast)

Preparation:

1. First, stir the yeast, sugar and oil into the warm milk. Add everything to the flour. Then knead the dough thoroughly. Put it in a pot, cover with a cloth and lid and leave in a warm place for approx. 60 – 70 minutes.

2.Then knead the dough thoroughly again and roll it out on a thin layer of flour to a thickness of about 2 mm. Then cut into 2 cm x 2 cm squares.

3. Then fry the pieces in hot oil in batches until golden brown. Turn them often and do not let them get too dark, otherwise they will become too dry and hollow inside. After removing, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve while still warm.

Bon appetit!
