Calzone with puff pastry, For every day Simple oven dish

Ingredients:

•100 g salami
•1 bell pepper(s)
•8 slices of puff pastry (frozen), about two slices per portion
•150 g cheese, grated
•100 g cooked ham
•1 egg yolk

•some tomato paste
•pepper
•salt
•oregano
•garlic
•some tomatoes

First let the puff pastry thaw. Prick it with a fork and let it rest for a while. Now place the puff pastry on a baking tray or baking paper that has been rinsed with cold water.

Meanwhile, cut the peppers, tomatoes, ham and salami into cubes. Mix these ingredients together and season with spices. Then grate the cheese and set aside.

Then spread the puff pastry with tomato paste, leaving a 1cm border free. Now distribute the mixture of peppers, tomatoes, ham and salami over the dough. Now sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

Finally, moisten the edge of the puff pastry and place the second piece of dough on top, press it down firmly and brush it with the beaten egg yolk. Finally, bake in a preheated oven at approx. 201°C for approx. 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
