A simple and quick recipe for dough on kefir without the taste of soda. The cakes come out soft and with a lot of air bubbles. The dough is ideal for fried pies with any ready-made filling.
INGREDIENTS:
400 g of flour;
3 grams of sodium bicarbonate (¼ teaspoon);
2 teaspoons of vodka;
200 g of kefir, yogurt or sour milk;
1 egg;
1 spoon of sugar;
½ teaspoon of salt;
30 g of oil.
METHOD OF COOKING:
- Sift flour with bicarbonate into a bowl, make a well and add vodka.
- Mix kefir with egg, sugar and salt. Transfer the composition to a bowl with flour, mix and knead the dough, which should be soft and sticky. You cover and leave for 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle the work surface with flour, transfer the dough and knead until it becomes sticky.
- Lubricate the surface and dough with oil, divide into approximately 11 parts and round.
- Form the sticks, add any filling and glue the edges until you get pâtés.
- Fry them over medium heat in a pan with heated oil until golden on both sides.
