Ingredients:
For the coffee gelatin:
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 sachet of instant coffee
- 4 tablespoons of gelatin
- Sugar to taste (it should be sweeter so that it doesn’t become bland when set)
- 1 1/2 cup cold water
For the three milk mixture: - 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons of instant coffee
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons of gelatin
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of half and half cream
Instructions:
- Prepare the coffee gelatin:
- Boil 1 1/2 cups of water.
- Add the instant coffee, gelatin, and sugar to taste.
- Stir well until all ingredients are completely dissolved.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water to the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a large mold and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
- Once firm, cut the gelatin into squares.
- Prepare the three-milk mixture:
- In a cup, mix half the cup of milk with 2 tablespoons of instant coffee and 1/4 cup of water.
- Add 3 tablespoons of gelatin to the mixture and let sit for 5 minutes or until firm.
- Melt the gelatin in the microwave for 15 seconds or in a double boiler until completely dissolved.
- In a large bowl, mix 1 can of evaporated milk, 1 can of condensed milk, and 1 can of half and half cream.
- Add the coffee milk mixture and melted gelatin to the three milks, and mix well.
- Assemble the dessert:
- Place the coffee gelatin squares in the mold where you want to make the dessert.
- Pour the three milks mixture over the coffee gelatin
