Grandma’s quark pockets prepared in 10 minutes

Ingredients
For the dough
250 ml milk
50g butter
500g flour
50g sugar
1/2 cube of yeast
1 pc egg
1 pinch of salt
For the curd filling
300 g quark 1 piece
Egg sugar to taste
1 pack of vanilla sugar
Lemon peel
Raisins
For painting
egg yolk whisked with milk

preparation

  1. First sift the flour and melt the butter. Let warm milk rise with yeast and a teaspoon of sugar. Then add the remaining ingredients and work into a dough. Let the dough rise.
    Now simply mix the ingredients for the curd filling.
  2. Then roll out the dough into a rectangle, cut into squares and spread the filling on top. (You get 14 squares in total.
  3. Now form the pockets. Then place on a baking tray coated with oil and let rise. Brush with an egg yolk beaten with milk.
  4. Bake at 180°C for 20-25 minutes. After baking, let it cool down and dust with powdered sugar. Done!
