- 200 g ladyfingers
- 100 ml strong coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp Amaretto (optional)
For decoration:
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh mint leaves
- Dark chocolate, grated
Directions:
- Preparation of the strawberry balsamic sauce:
- In a saucepan, mix the halved strawberries, sugar and balsamic vinegar.
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries are soft and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and let it cool.
- Preparation of the mascarpone cream:
- In a large bowl, beat together mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

- Preparation of the tiramisu layers:
- Dip the ladyfingers in the cooled coffee (and optionally drizzle with Amaretto) and place them evenly in a casserole dish or glass baking dish to form the bottom layer.
- Spread half of the prepared strawberry balsamic sauce over the ladyfingers and spread evenly.
- Pour half of the mascarpone cream over the strawberry layer and smooth it out.
- Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, strawberry balsamic sauce and mascarpone cream.
- Cooling and solidification:
- Cover the prepared tiramisu layer and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to firm up and the flavors to combine.
- Serve:
- Before serving, take the strawberry tiramisu out of the fridge and decorate with fresh strawberries, mint leaves and a generous portion of grated dark chocolate.
- Cut the tiramisu into pieces and serve on dessert plates.
